Clinical Opportunities

KSOM provides many opportunities for exposure to primary care through ICM and Student Interest Groups (SIGS). There are opportunities to experience all primary care specialties during third year clerkships. Many primary care specialties also offer selectives/sub internships (“sub I’s”) during fourth year. Student Interest groups provide early opportunity to shadow and find specialty mentors. The Primary Care Program also connects students with longitudinal mentors within primary care specialties.
