OBGYN Student Interest Group (OBGYN-SIG)

The Ob/Gyn Student Interest Group (OB/GYN SIG) is a medical student organization for any individual that is passionate about women’s healthcare. This dynamic field combines primary care with surgical and outpatient procedures to improve the reproductive and gynecological health of women with acute and chronic conditions. With connections to LAC+USC and Keck Hospital faculty, our SIG hosts leaders in all of the Ob/Gyn subspecialties of gynecologic oncology, female pelvic medicine & reconstructive surgery, reproductive endocrinology & infertility, maternal-fetal medicine, and family planning.

The Ob/Gyn SIG hosts events throughout the year including a subspecialty panel, workshops focused on sex positivity and IUD placement, and a donation drive for the Downtown Women’s Center.
