The Primary Care Community Medicine Program’s Choosing a Primary Care Career Connect & Select Program. The Connect & Select Program will provide an opportunity for first- and second-year students to learn more about a primary care, community-based medical career by providing you with a “go-to” community medicine physician from whom you can learn about the career opportunities and lifestyle of a community-based physician. This program will connect students with physicians working within community clinics and on a variety of community medicine projects (both research and service).
A formal Connect & Select process each year at the end of January. If you are considering a career in primary care and are interested in being matched with a community physician, please click here
to provide us some information about your professional interests and preferences. We will use your information to match you with a participating community physician, and will then contact you to provide more information about the program and about the person with whom you will be working.
