The Primary Care Program is a curriculum set to train primary care-focused medical students in community health settings. Twenty Four (24) students will be chosen for this program where they can experience longitudinal relationships with patients and primary care faculty throughout their four years of medical school. Under the supervision of faculty mentors, students will be part of the community-based outpatient care team, while gaining an appreciation for continuity of care, the patient-center medical home, primary care and community medicine.
